My Technician ("we", "us") publishes Windows utility apps on the Microsoft Store and operates the website at mytechnician.tech. For privacy questions, contact us at contact@mytechnician.tech.

This website

When you browse mytechnician.tech, we may collect standard web analytics through our hosting provider (Vercel), such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and referral source. We use this information to understand traffic and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information. Our troubleshooting guides are free to read. We do not require an account to use the website, and we do not host user-generated content on the site.

Our Windows apps

Our apps are designed to run locally on your PC. They do not require a My Technician cloud account, and they do not upload your files, passwords, or scan results to our servers by default. Purchases are processed by Microsoft through the Microsoft Store; we receive only the information Microsoft provides to publishers (such as aggregate download and purchase data), not your payment card details. Each app’s Microsoft Store listing may include its own privacy disclosures required by Microsoft. If an app offers optional features that contact the network (for example, checking for updates), that behavior is described in the app or Store listing.
