By accessing mytechnician.tech or using our Windows apps, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site or our software.
The website
Tips & Fixes articles are provided for general information only. They are not professional IT, legal, or security advice. You follow any guide at your own risk. We recommend backing up important data before changing system settings, drivers, or security software. We try to keep guides accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that every step will work on every PC or Windows build. We may change, remove, or update content at any time.
Our apps
My Technician apps are sold on the Microsoft Store as one-time purchases unless otherwise stated on the Store listing. Your purchase and license are also subject to Microsoft's terms and the Store's refund policies. Apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Technician is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our apps or reliance on site content—including data loss, downtime, or hardware issues. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws and for having the right to access and modify any computer you use our tools on.
Intellectual property
The My Technician name, logo, website design, app software, and original guide text are owned by My Technician or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or republish substantial portions of the site or apps without permission, except as allowed by law or the Microsoft Store license for purchased apps.
Prohibited use
You may not use the site or apps to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access to systems, or interfere with the operation of the site.
Links
The site links to third-party services (including the Microsoft Store). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
Changes
We may revise these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date below indicates the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
